But i can say to you:
It's worth it to stay hours in the cold night, just to make one photo^^

War aber eigl. noch zu nah an ner Stadt (man sieht ja unten rechts noch diesen "lichtsmog"

But why don't you use 'bulb' - and you can blend 5-6 photos with 15 minutes exposure.
I use Canon 400D for astrophotography, and I take even 20 minutes long exposures with just a slight noise.
170 images is too complicated, but it looks great

And also would the foreground be too bright.
(I didn't made the shots manually, i used my laptop and "Camera Control Pro" (for Nikon Cams), so it was automatic anyway)
